Kabob Marinade

This is a very simple marinade that will work for any red meat, I like to use it with game meat like deer or moose but it’s perfect for beef or lamb or pork as well. Cut meat into large pieces, build the marinade into a zip top bag or vacuum seal bag to make the least amount of dishes. This is a great recipe to make in bulk and freeze, the meat will marinade as it defrosts. Bring this camping and grill it outdoors, you will have your neighbors coming over to see what’s cooking.

Marinade

1/4cup Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce

1/2 cup canola oil

2 tsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp Chili flakes

2 tsp Garlic, minced

1/2 Tbsp Liquid Honey

1 tsp Chili flakes

2 tsp Garlic, minced

1/2 Tbsp Liquid Honey

Add all ingredients to a bag, seal the bag and squish the marinade with your fingers to combine ingredients. Add 2 lbs cubed meat, large pieces of bell pepper, onion and mushrooms to the bag and seal. Marinade overnight or at least 4 hours. Do not add vegetables if freezing the packet. Remove meat and veggies from marinade to cook, if using wooden skewers be sure to soak the skewers in water for about an hour. Enjoy!
